10 heavy sumos,
Then 5 sets of:
5 single leg squats on a box,
10 alternating step ups with weight,
20 jump squats.

I’ve been using @classpass for the last two months and have been really enjoying it. Trying different classes has added a happy variety to my fitness routine. Unfortunately, while scrolling through the class options, I happened upon this awful description of a fitness class. Problem areas? My only “problem area” is this terrible fitness facility. I texted all my friends last night about joining me for @solestrengthkc’s City Video Cycle class this morning at 5:30am because I wanted them to go and I wanted me to go too. I knew that if I recruited buddies, then I couldn’t ditch ‘em...and they showed up and I showed up (the proof is in the pic!☝🏼) and we got a great workout and will have a great week. Hi! I'm Cheryl. I've been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years now. My journey began with step aerobics at the Rec Center at Mizzou. I loved it! I just went to class day after day because of the sheer fun of learning the routines and executing them. I wasn't sporty in high school and was happy that I finally found an exercise that I enjoyed doing.
Soon, I did incorporate other activities into my fitness routine. I ran a few marathons, became a certified BodyStep instructor and then hired my first personal trainer. Then, I saw my career path.
I became an ACE certified Personal Trainer in 2007. My approach is simple: I will challenge you to be better, work harder and sweat more, but not to the detriment of your safety. During each session, you will be challenged, and between each session, I'll be in contact with you. I know people find success when they are held accountable to their goals, and I'll be your accountability partner texting you about your workouts when we are not together.
