30 miles, lots of road debris, walking our bikes around downed trees, a flat tire🙋🏻, a fall, a tree limb that couldn't be moved 🤦🏻♀️, and smiles and laughter and friendship.
Happy Friday! Give this workout a try: First, run 3 miles with @fiterature. Then, head to the squat rack at @citygymkc and use the 45lb bar for the following...50-40-30-20-10 squats and jump lunges. That's 50 squats with the bar, 50 jump lunges (no weight). 40 squats with the bar, 40 jump lunges (no weight)...etc. During breaks be sure to bend over dramatically to catch your breath, check your phone, talk to members and take pictures for social media. 💪🏼

The best part of today....and it's not even 8am!.....was I thought the workout was 4 rounds and as everyone around me was finishing I checked the board and saw the workout was only 3 rounds and then I was finished too! Yippeeeeeeee! Today we did "Helen" THREE rounds: 400 meter run, 21 kb swings. 12 pull ups.

Kitchen hack! I used a ground meet tool to mash up bananas for #paleo pancakes this morning. I'm feelin' pretty good about myself.

I prepped some veggies for lunch at 8am today. I had a little break between clients so I sliced up some mushrooms and leeks. Now, when I'm pressed for time midday, I can just toss everything together and make lunch move much faster since everything is ready already!
